What is the LSUC Portal?

The LSUC Portal is a secure environment in which to submit changes to your status or contact information, file your annual report, make fee related payments, submit your Continuing Professional Development Hours, and receive important information specific to the professions.

By-Law 8 requires licensees to notify the Law Society immediately after any change in their status and/or contact information.

How can I access the LSUC Portal?

You must register for the LSUC Portal in order to gain access and follow the procedures for account activation. If you have not registered, please click Register from the LSUC Portal Log-In page.

You must have a valid email address on file with the Law Society in order to register.

Please note that your password is case sensitive. 

Temporary passwords and security answers are only valid for 24 hours.

My account is disabled.  What does this mean?

Your account has been disabled for one of the following reasons:

  • Your temporary password has expired after 24 hours
  • Your temporary security answers have expired after 24 hours
  • Your security questions were answered incorrectly
  • There were too many failed attempts at entering your user name and password
  • Your account was manually locked

In order to enable your account, please contact the Law Society of Upper Canada at 416-947-3315 or 1-800-668-7380 ext. 3315 from Monday to Friday between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Why am I not eligible to access the LSUC Portal?

The LSUC Portal is for lawyers and paralegals currently licensed by the Law Society of Upper Canada.

You must register for the LSUC Portal in order to gain access and follow the procedures for account activation. If you have not registered, please click Register from the LSUC Portal Log-In page.

You must have a valid email address on file with the Law Society in order to register.

It may be that your current class/status is not one that is authorized to make certain changes through the Portal. Please contact the Law Society for more information at 416-947-3315 or 1-800-668-7380 ext. 3315 from Monday to Friday between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
