Why do I have to provide answers to these questions?

Verification questions are a common security tool used to further validate your identity - that the person signing on is who they say they are.

You must always keep your personal verification questions and answers strictly confidential.

It is important to note that the Law Society of Ontario and its affiliates will never ask you to divulge your user name, password, or answers to your security questions. 

Do not provide answers that can be found in your wallet, purse or at the desk by your computer.

Answers should be easy enough for you to remember, but personal so they cannot be answered by someone else.
