Who can register for access to the LSO Portal?

The LSO Portal is for lawyers and paralegals currently licensed by the Law Society of Ontario. It is a secure environment in which to submit changes to your status or contact information, file your annual report, make fee related payments, submit your Continuing Professional Development Hours, and receive important information specific to the professions. Important reminders, notices, and other documents are posted in your Portal account. Please login to the Portal on a regular basis to review any new documents that have been posted.

How can I access the LSO Portal?

To access the LSO Portal, you must first register. This will only take a few minutes to complete. After successfully registering you must activate your account. The activation process is outlined in an email that is sent to you immediately following registration.

Your information will be authenticated against the information we have on file to verify your identity.

For lawyers, "Year Obtained Licence" is the four-digit year you were called to the Bar in Ontario. For paralegals, this is the four-digit year in which you were issued your P1 licence to provide legal services in Ontario.
